DESCRIPTION:DR MEAKER – the acclaimed drum and bass act known for their unique fusion of live instrumentation and electronic beats – bring their electrifying live show back to The Lost ARC on Saturday 2 May after blowing us all away back in 2024. \n\n\n\nThis will be a full on bank holiday party with support from electro-mashup kings Kaiju Blue and afterparty til 1am with local legends Jesta and Merlz back to back on the decks!________________________________________________________ \n\n\n\nDr Meaker started their journey as a Bristol-based sound system comprising of electronic and acoustic musicians. The band soon built up a strong following and quickly gained the attention of festival promotors and radio DJs across the UK and around the world. \n\n\n\nDown the years the band has evolved through non-stop touring\, tearing up stages worldwide with recent international debuts in The Netherlands\, Switzerland\, Los Angeles & Ghana. The band have clearly stated that their mission is “to take Live Drum & Bass across the World\, Bristol Style!” \n\n\n\nSince their last visit to Rhayader they have continued to be top-billed at festivals all over the UK and beyond! \n\n\n\nExpect an electrifying live experience\, featuring new tracks and  classic hits. With their signature blend of soulful vocals\, live brass\, and pulsating rhythms\, Dr Meaker continues to push the boundaries of the drum and bass genre. \n\n\n\nThis event will be mostly STANDING\, with some seating available on the balcony. Anyone with accessibility concerns is welcome to call the venue to discuss. \n\n\n\nDoors 8pm. Closing time 1am. Tickets £20 advance.
