Superb jazz from 3 of the most accomplished players on the UK scene. All have been regular visitors to the Lost ARC stage in various guises down the years and they return in a new trumpet-led trio format for this spring tour of Wales.
Tomos Williams is the trumpeter and band leader behind the fantastic Khamira and thought provoking ‘Cwmwl Tystion’ projects with a diverse array of influences including reimagined traditional folk music.
Aidan Thorne leads ground-breaking band ‘Duski’ and his compositions in duo with Toby Hay have explored the evocations of Welsh landscape.
Matt Holmes is a rising star in the UK jazz scene, composing new music and performing with jazz heavyweights such as Hermeto Pascoal and Tony Kofi.
