About The Groe Gathering:
For many years The Groe Gathering has occupied the Friday-night slot at Rhayader Carnival Week. Live music by the picturesque River Wye in the Groe park in Cwmdauddwr at the edge of Rhayader. The music is always varied and ecclectic, with something for everyone to enjoy and food and drinks available, as well as plenty of space to play and spread out a picnic.
A lot of time, equipment and energy is volunteered by the organisers, but the musicians are paid and there are inevitable costs to run the event which are increasing year on year and need to be met. Coming to this fundraiser is one way to support this great cause!
