Ray Cooper returns to the UK in October 2024 for his first UK tour since April 2023 bringing songs from his new album.

Released in May 2024  Even For A Shadow is the fifth solo album from singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Ray Cooper. Building on both his 23 years with folk/rock legends Oysterband and his 12 years as a solo artist, his new album brings to the fore Ray’s strengths as a songwriter, a composer and an arranger.

Ray Cooper – Falling Like Thunder

From Scottish/English ancestry, Ray now lives in Sweden where he recorded the album in his log cabin studio with contributions from a number of guest musicians. His folk influences can still be heard clearly but there are more echoes of other musical styles such as Americana than on his previous albums.

Ray’s programme will feature songs from the new album, together with selected favourites, accompanying himself on guitar, piano, cello and harmonica.

This gig will be seated.
