Dr Meaker, the acclaimed drum and bass act known for their unique fusion of live instrumentation and electronic beats, brings their forthcoming album tour to The Lost ARC on Saturday 12 October.

This will be a full on party with support from Beatbox trio Air Dynamix and afterparty til 1am with DJ Jesta

Dr Meaker started their journey as a Bristol-based sound system comprising of electronic and acoustic musicians. The band soon built up a strong following and quickly gained the attention of festival promotors and radio DJs across the UK and around the world.

Down the years the band has evolved and been non-stop touring, tearing up stages worldwide with recent international debuts in The Netherlands, Switzerland, Los Angeles & Ghana. The band have clearly stated that their mission is “to take Live Drum & Bass across the World, Bristol Style!”

Every year sees them top-billed at more festivals including, Glastonbury Festival, Boomtown Fair, Isle Of Wight, Green Man & Shambala Festival, to name a few.

Their Autumn tour kicks off HERE in support their highly anticipated new album ‘Distorted Sun’ (October 2024), taking the band across the UK and beyond.

Expect an electrifying live experience, featuring new tracks from the album alongside their classic hits. With their signature blend of soulful vocals, live brass, and pulsating rhythms, Dr Meaker continues to push the boundaries of the drum and bass genre. “We’re excited to bring our new music to fans and create unforgettable nights of dancing and connection,” says frontman Clive Meaker.

Support comes from Beatbox three-piece Air Dynamix; a new heavyweight vocal project with energy and musicality bursting at the seams featuring some of Bristol’s most prolific mouth musicians.

Pye is a UK Beatbox Vice Champion who’s been making mind-blowing noises and smashing shows for over 25 years. Jack Salt is the powerful beatmaker behind Ushti Baba, Murmuration Choir and The Inexplicables. and Wolfguts has been inciting screwfaces for many years in both a solo and collaborative format, busting out beats with projects such as Hey Maggie and ZenSay. Together Air Dynamix will blow your minds!

Afterparty til 1am with local DnB hero Jesta to keep the energy high and the dancefloor moving.

This event will be unreserved standing, with limited seating available on the balcony.
