Comprising 3 musicians from Wales and 3 from India, Khamira perform ‘Improvised World Music’ – Hindustani classical music, jazz, Welsh folk, rock and deep grooves all blend seamlessly to create an unique world fusion.

Khamira have performed at Music Festivals worldwide in India, South Korea and Wales since their inception in 2015, and in 2022 joined us at The Lost ARC as part of their Undod/Unity tour to high acclaim.

Khamira’s music is real world-fusion – imagine the cinematic scope of the Pat Metheny Group and the grunge funk of Miles Davis’ 70s band inter-twinned with passages of melancholic Welsh folk music and Indian classical virtuosity.

“A true fusion of Welsh and Indian folk and classical music with a healthy injection of Big Fun-era Miles Davis…Khamira have shown there is a real audience for this kind of music in Wales ”
