A chance to see prog folk legends Tír na nÓg live in Rhayader on the evening of the summer solstice…

Tír na nÓg is Gaelic for ‘land of eternal youth’ and the Irish duo Leo O’Kelly and Sonny Condell formed in 1969. Tír na nÓg are pioneers of progressive folk – their music is based on strong Celtic roots, featuring intricate acoustic guitar playing and close harmony singing.

In the 70s they toured with Jethro Tull, Procol Harum, The Who, Cat Stevens, Roxy Music and Hawkwind. 40 years on, Tír na nÓg are back as strong as ever!

Their songs do not age – they are timeless, truly reflecting the ‘land of eternal youth’.
