We had a fantastic time at the taster event this weekend; a massive thank you to everyone who joined us!
Saturday kicked off with a musical theatre workshop, MD’d by the inimitable Mr Ross Doodson, who then led the cast of The Arts Centre Telford in an outstanding and inspiring performance of West End and Broadway favourites. The young performers showed their talent, enthusiasm and professionalism and will definitely be invited back in the near future.
Sunday had a more classic flavour, with a Music Hall Sing-along and Classical Hour, followed by a Scratch Choir. We were thrilled to have members of Minsterley and Pontesbury chapel joining local residents and friends from further afield in this uplifting community caper. The choir then formed a part of the Songs of Praise event, which was led by laudable local, Mr Gwynfryn Evans.
The weekend was closed by Bishops Castle’s own The Skatells, who played an awesome set of ska, reggae and two-tone and had everyone on their feet dancing – We’ll be getting this brilliant group back through our doors as soon as it can be arranged!
If this is what we can achieve with no floor, needless to say; we are more excited than ever for the future of The Lost ARC!
